From which countries and from which marketing channels, like search engines, social network?Jesús: I think at the beginning of the company, we are really an international company. Were in 20 countries, a lot of them in Spanish language, like in  Mexico  right now the first country,  Spain,  Argentina,  Colombia  and  Peru.At the beginning, I think people find us from Google, from search engines. Right now, in the last 2 years, people come find us from social network like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter. We have moved from search engines to some social networks. Right now we have a very high percentage of traffic that arrives from social networks. Search engines have also huge amount of t raffic, but right now I think the search engines, probably sometimes find other things in this kind of environment.Martin: What is the share of search engine traffic from your visits?Jesús: I think 4 years ago really nothing. Right now, I think its about 15 20%. It is really lowering a lot and thats why we really focus on making good things for social network. So I think its becoming important. Sometimes, Twitter is a very financial social network. We have tickers, as you know hash tags. In the stock market, we have a lot of people who visit us from Twitter. And probably for more usual things like Tips for Saving, Tips for Taxes from Facebook.  For more specific things also from LinkedIn.I think every social network has their preferences. Thats why we like it very much, because we find people in that kind of network and they like us. So we have a team that only focuses on delivering our content in social networks.Martin: With Bolsa you said that its somehow an investor network or trader network. So, we dont have that is not a media company.You can have a premium profile, so we try to leverage all our content or the best things and can provide it to our users, so they can make the best decision in the market.But also we think its very important to leverage the intelligence of the community, of the crowd. Most procrastinators, such as myself believe that something is wrong with them if they do not feel motivated to begin a task. It is not only the lack of motivation but the fear that strikes me when I think about tasks that I do not want to face that eventually cripples my confidence in my abilities. Since I have disabilities the outcome of my exam scores do not reflect my understanding of the topic at hand. Due to this I procrastinate on other tasks related to my courses because I feel defeated as is. Fear of failure is another reason people procrastinate. It goes something like this: If I really try hard and fail, that is worse than if I dont try and end up failing. In the former case, I gave it my best and failed. In the latter, because I really did not try, I truly did not fail. For example, you may postpone studying for a major test and then pull an all-nighter. The resulting grade may be poor or mediocre, but you can say, I could have done better if I had had more time to study. In order to overcome these illogical reasons for not doing work and procrastinating the inevitable there are some strategies I like to use. Though I didn’t use the tools to overcome the procrastination bug for this paper , I normally like to use the following I read from an article from Oregon State University . They are the following : * Take control of your study environment study in a place that is free from distractions. * Make a TO DO list. * Establish a routine. * Self-bribery give yourself rewards. I can watch TV for a half an hour once I finish reading these 10 pages * Divide and Conquer break larger tasks into smaller units thereby eliminating how daunting the task seems. As you complete each small unit, move on to the next one. Before you know it, youll be done * Use a planner for time management. * Use the 10-minute rule. When you have trouble getting started, select a specific task, such as three pages of reading or Im going to spend 10 minutes reading without stopping. At the end of 10 minutes, see how much youve done. Keep working in 10-minute blocks until you are satisfied with what you have done. * When you finish studying, do one more thing before you quit. Start another assignment; then you will be ahead when you sit down to study again. * Carry flashcards, notes and other study materials with you so that you can make better use of your open time. Recite and review your notes while waiting for the bus, riding in a car, standing in line, etc. Do two things at once. Combine recitation and review with another activity. Recite terms and definitions while you are jogging or having your lunch. I am a number one offender of this irrational realization, however, I still find myself doing it. Depending on where you live, the definition of these two terms may vary, as will the official designation that is given to a certain community. In general, though, cities are larger than towns. Whether any given town is officially designated with the term town, however, will vary based on the country and state it is located in. The Difference Between a City and a Town In the United States, an incorporated  city  is a legally defined government entity. It has powers delegated by the state and county and the local laws, regulations, and policies are created and approved by the voters of the city and their representatives. A city can provide local government services to its citizens. In many places in the U.S., a town, village, community, or neighborhood is simply an unincorporated community with no governmental powers. County governments typically provide services to these unincorporated communities.Some states do have official designations of towns that include limited powers. Generally, in the urban hierarchy, villages are smaller than towns and towns are smaller than cities, though this is not always the case.   How Urban Areas are Defined Throughout the World It is difficult to compare countries based on the percentage of urban population. The following table includes the  minimum population that is considered urban in a sampling of countries throughout the world. It also lists the percent of the countrys residents which are urbanized. Out of all the mass media today, adolescents use the television and the internet more than any other media resource. The use of internet has risen exponentially in the last few years and within a year, it is estimated that 90% of all families with children will have access to the internet. The word sex is the most popular search term used on the Internet today. The Internet may have both positive and negative effects on sexual health. Internet bombards the minds of the teens these days with images of sex almost every single day. Aside from the daily dose of sexuality and eroticism provided by the mainstream media, 50% of all adolescents have said that they have encountered unwanted pornographic material on the internet. Many studies have been conducted to determine the extent of communication between adolescents and parents about sexuality. It has often been shown that students are more likely to turn to friends and the media before discussing this topic with their parents. The availability of a large and wide scale of information on the internet and the freedom from the embarrassment of confrontation has compelled many adolescents in this path. Because of this, fewer families discuss sex and abstinence in their families. One study has found that the patterns of sexuality communication in a family are also dependent on the gender of the parents as well as the child. Preadolescents who have communicated with their parents about sexuality have been shown to go to their parents for more advice when they are older. The internet does play a very important role in children communicating with their parents about sexuality. Each member of the triad completed a 10-item measure of communication about risk factors for sexual activity, sexual communication, and sexual risk prevention. A majority of parents and their preadolescents reported communication had occurred about most topics. Mothers and fathers were equally likely to communicate with sons whereas mothers were more likely to communicate with daughters than were fathers. Based on the study results, preadolescence may be the optimal time for parents to provide sexual risk prevention messages to their children before sexual behaviors are initiated. Parents and other family members play critical roles in shaping adolescent sexual behavior through their parenting practices, sexuality communications, and modeling of risk reduction strategies. Greater parental monitoring and less parental permissiveness are consistently related to later sexual initiation, less frequent sexual intercourse, less risky sexual behavior, fewer sexual partners, less pregnancy, and increased condom use among teens. The study found that overall, most preadolescents and their parents report that they have talked about risk factors, sexuality education and sexual risk prevention topics. The parents and the children were more prone to discuss topics like drug abuse and alcohol with their children than other sexual topics. Discussion about condoms and abstinence were least reported. Looking at the study gender-wise, we see that boys have discussed their sexuality with both the parents to the same level and have reported doing so. In the case of daughters, the patterns show that they tend to go to their mothers more for information about sexuality. Dad-daughter pairs rarely reported discussing sexuality, menstruation and puberty. Preadolescents are the time of their lives when they internalize the messages they get from their parents. Children who have been educated at this time tend to not be affected peer relationships and the media as much as those who have not been. Children whose families communicate with each other abstain from risky behaviors and have more tendencies to be less influenced by the outside media. Thus parents need to be encouraged to communicate with their children about sexuality rather than letting them search for information outside the family circle.
